My Statement of Faith Regarding Vaccines
I believe God, not
science, is infallible and incorruptible. My faith is not in science, which is
susceptible to corruption via money and power and conflict of interest, but my
faith is, instead, in God, who created the concept of science and the laws that
govern science (I’m referring to legitimate science, which involves
double-blind, inert placebo, third-party experimentation, and
predictable/repeatable results).
I believe that “the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs” (1 Tim 6:10). I’m convinced that conflict of interest has infiltrated and saturated the healthcare industries.
I believe God is the Infallible Creator, who didn’t make mistakes when he created our immune system and determined his creation was “very good.” (I'll address post-Eden sickness below. Please keep reading.)
I believe God is
omnipotent, all-powerful, and able to create our immune systems to function in
a particular way when exposed to diseases and viruses through particular
(natural) pathways. I believe the injection of viruses and diseases into the
human body is not a natural, God-ordained pathway of disease.
I believe God’s design is perfect, that humankind is incapable of improving upon God’s design, and that attempts to bypass the way God created things to work will fail or even have negative repercussions. I am convinced by the science and evidence that the injection of mutated human DNA, as well as animal DNA, egg proteins, trace heavy metals, chemicals, etc. weakens and compromises our God-made immune systems and is among the causes of encephalitis, intestinal dysbiosis, seizures, autoimmune disease, immune-deficiencies, allergies, cancer, etc.
I also believe sickness is inevitable in this fallen, post-Eden, post-flood
world. I believe we may do all we can to promote health, but we cannot avoid
sickness completely. It is an inevitable part of life and will increase as we
near Jesus' return, referred to as "pestilences" in Revelation. I
believe I. John 5:19 that says, “…the whole world lies in the power of the evil
one,” and that while he has been given temporary authority on this earth, his
agenda is to “steal and kill and destroy” (Jn 10:10).
I believe the best
possible chance we can give our immune systems (*including my
immune-compromised kids) in order to arm it in its fight against sickness and
disease is: 1) to protect it from the injection of foreign substances that God
never meant to enter our blood stream and tissue via injection and 2) to feed
it what God gave us for food, food that is divinely-engineered not
genetically-engineered, food that is absent of non-food additives.
I believe Jesus
said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick”
(Mk 2:17)]. Medicine is given to the sick, but ____ are the preemptive attempt
in healthy individuals to simulate sickness in order to stimulate immune
function. Do I believe in medical intervention when appropriate? Of course.
Yes. It has saved my immediate family members lives on more than 1 occasion.
But medicine is for allopathic treatment, not prevention.
I believe God is the
Creator and that the authority to give life and take life away belongs to him:
“Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave,
and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord” (Job 1:21). I
believe that to ‘take life away’ from an unborn baby is a form of murder. I am
under the conviction that the use of DNA from aborted human babies in the
manufacturing and/or testing of ____ serves to condone, justify, and
incentivize abortions. It is my conviction that sacrificing a human life via
abortion is able to be justified (forgiven) by the blood of Jesus but is unable
to be justified (made honorable) by good motives, even if it’s in *attempt to
promote health for the masses. (*I say “attempt” because the evidence convinces
me ____ do not promote health but actually damage the immune system of the
masses, even if the symptoms don’t appear until later, in the form of
allergies, tics, autoimmune disease, infertility, cancer, Alzheimer’s, etc.)
The moral dilemma: is it ethical and does it honor God to take a stand against
abortion while simultaneously: a) supporting an industry that profits from it,
and b) willingly using the products made from it (be it cosmetics, medicinal,
or prophylactic products)?
I believe the Bible
warns us to not put our faith in that which is falsely called science: “O
Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain
babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing
have erred concerning the faith” (1 Tim 6:20-21 KJV). The end of Revelation
18:23 says, “…and all nations were deceived by your sorcery.” “Sorcery”
from the Greek word ‘pharmakeia’ means: the use or administering of drugs;
poisoning; or sorcery/magical arts. And John wrote Revelation to warn us of
what we are to expect before the return of Jesus Christ. At some point, He will
return and we would be wise to be on guard against this.
Whatever ‘furnace’
or other threat we may face, whatever idol or image to which our governing
authorities may try to mandate our worship, service, or sacrifice, may our Lord
Jesus Christ help us boldly profess, “If we are thrown into the blazing
furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us
from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your
Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have
set up” (Dan 3:17-18).
